it is best to place the the Aeonium in a very bright place, avoiding direct sunlight during the hottest months; it fears the cold, therefore in winter it is best to keep the plants indoors or in the greenhouse.

- Hello, thank you in advance for reading my help… About 2 months ago in my area it snowed for about 2 weeks with very low temperatures, so I brought my specimen of aeon…
during the vegetative season, from May to October, the Aeonium needs abundant watering, if the water is too little the stems and rosettes tend to grow in a stunted manner; in winter it is advisable to leave the plant a period of rest, drastically decreasing the amount of water supplied, watering only when the soil is dry. During the growing season, add fertilizer for succulent plants to the water of the watering every 15-20 days.
like many other succulent plants, the Aeonium also likes very well drained soils, so it is advisable to mix a good amount of sand and fairly coarse-grained material to the substrate.
in the spring you can sow the seeds of the previous year, in a container filled with a mixture of sand and peat in equal parts, to be kept moist and in a bright place, but not too sunny. In April-May, we can also practice leaf or branch cuttings, which root easily and fairly quickly.
Pests and Diseases
sometimes the Aeonium is attacked by cochineal and aphids, difficult to treat because they nest in the center of the rosette, sheltered by the leaves.
